Grounded Guidance, Measurable Peace

We believe calm isn't just a feeling — it's a practice, and practices work best in community. Right now, our program is small but real: two seniors and two young adults are learning, coloring, and journaling side by side, discovering that nervous system regulation looks a little different at every age, but the need for it is the same. Whether it's a grandmother finding stillness after a long week or a young adult learning to recognize what "safe" feels like in her own body, Calm & Centered meets each person exactly where they are — with practical tools, gentle guidance, and results you can actually feel.

Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: July 2026

By using itstartswithusfoundation.com, purchasing a product, booking a consultation, or donating, you agree to these Terms. This Site is operated by It Starts With Us Foundation, International, a California 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 93-4736970), including its Calm & Centered program.

Digital Products Purchases (like the Coloring & Journal Book and Daily Sanctuary Toolkit) grant you a personal-use license only — not ownership. Files may not be resold or redistributed. No refunds

Our consultations and programs are educational wellness sessions — coloring, journaling, breathwork, and reflection. They are not medical care, therapy, or mental health treatment, and we are not licensed medical or mental health providers. If you're in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call/text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We ask for at least 72 hours' advance notice to cancel or reschedule any consultation.

If you cancel or reschedule with 72+ hours' notice:

  • You may reschedule to a new date/time at no charge, or

  • Request a refund, which will be processed within [5-10] business days.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours' notice:

  • Your session fee is non-refundable.

  • We're happy to offer a one-time courtesy reschedule at our discretion, but this isn't guaranteed.

No-shows (missing your scheduled session without any notice) are treated the same as a late cancellation — non-refundable, with rescheduling offered only at our discretion.

How to cancel or reschedule:
Email us at itstartswithusfoundation@sanctuarypjdesigns.com, or use the reschedule/cancel link in your booking confirmation, as far in advance as possible.

We understand emergencies happen. If something unexpected comes up, reach out — we'll always try to work with you.

Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; consult your tax advisor for your specific situation. Funds support our charitable mission, and we retain discretion over their allocation.

Intellectual Property All Site content, branding, and materials belong to It Starts With Us Foundation, International and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.

Payments are processed by third parties (e.g., Squarespace Payments, Stripe, PayPal), subject to their own terms.

No Warranties / Limited Liability The Site and our products/services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
